lydibug's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coin 0perated Boy.

Because I'm too busy to write any kind of real diary entry... or is it just too lazy??...

here is what I did last night, courtesy of Max:

i spent yesterday evening with the buglet. let me just tell you right now that you're all seething with jealousy about how awesome a time we have. sushi at kazoo was fantastic as usual (although lydia ordered a few new things that she didn't much care for). i had seen out waitress out the night before at the caravan and it was fun to see her working again. she is half japanese and half something else and has the most amazing accent. lydia said she wanted to pet it and put it in a jar and feed it treats. it's the spunky little kitty of accents and lydia got all crinkled up when she fully recognized it. we went to the old bug cave (her folks house) and watched some of master and commander with her dad and brother. we looked at her trailer pictures from when she was little, some amazing ticket stubs from fleetwood mac in nebraska and the rose that KC from KC and THE sunshine band gave to her mom. it was great fun and on the way out we saw the devil. kinda snuck up on you there eh? this giant. GIANT. G.I.A.N.T. demon spider was on the wall outside her front door. i am not kidding when i say it's the biggest spider i've seen in person (discounting tarantulas, etc). we took 3 photos of it which lydibug has and i need to get to post here. it could have easily eaten one of her cats. when we took the photo of it, it's EYES GLOWED. that's how big this f*cker was, its eyes glowed with the flash. it was perched as if to pounce at any second and i pretty much almost swallowed my tongue. i hate spiders and will admit to being mortally frightened by large thick legged glowing eyed beasts the size of a matchbook. if that bastard had moved you'd have heard my girlish yelp/battle cry from wherever you happen to be. even in maryland.

so we drove around at looked at houses in the area i want to move to and took more photos at the flamingo motel and other neat places. we went to the store and got a few items (i got the new cheer dark detergent to try out (since the only white clothes i own are 6 white shirts i just bought. prior to that i had zero whites). there was an empty box of trojan magnums on the floor in the frozen section. if we looked harder i bet we could have found some scandelous shit going on behind that glass. they had dolls of black santa and we photographed that as well. i promise i'll try and get these photos to post just as soon as lydia sends em on over.

Yes, I have his pictures. I'm holding them hostage.

I have been trying to help my cousin plan her wedding. I have been going to new "Dive Bar"s and trying to get back stage at Social D shows... only to be flaked on. That's fine. It was more for Ky anyway. I figure he's a veteran and a fire fighter and he would have enjoyed getting to meet the band because they're like, his all time favorite.

Anyway, we went to a new bar instead and played pool. I have pictures of that as well.

I went and saw the Dr3sden Dolls Wednesday night with Tatiana. Tat was being molested all night by friend Izzy's friend. Izzy and I have been friends for almost 10 years. He and I met at a music festival in Sw@ns Island, Maine. He was my summer crush for a couple of summers. Anyway, his band opened for the Dolls and I missed it cuz I was driving around the city lost.

Lame.

It was a freak fest when we got there. Strangest bunch I've seen in a while. Like an interesting Vaudeville/Goth rave. Hm.

Good times.

Then we went and drank at the Edinborough Lounge which we kept calling both "Coinburgh" and ... um... something Palace. Oh! Emerald Palace. It was in the raunchiest part of San Francisco with all kinds of porn theaters and hookers. Nice.

We got yelled at by an old man who told me and Tat that we could join the military and cook and be nurses. He then told us to "GET OFF THE STREET CORNER AMERICA! WE DON'T WANT YOU!"... yes. It was odd.

Anyway, I still am totally crushing on Izzy. He's precious.

Work is good. Mike working here doing what I used to do frees me up for more artistically enjoyable jobs. That's always good.

Alright. It's 7 and I should go home. I'm at work still because we had lunch leftovers (killer Thai food) and interenet access. But I have dishes to do at home.

Okay. Love you!
bye.
