Chica Loca

You know what rocks? I'll tell you what rocks. (And its not everything, although I realize I use the word "rocks" a lot.)

Here's what rocks:

• Finishing a cool website for your crappy Arts 65 class (HERE..until Friday)

• Putting a pretty pink studded collar with a bell on your boy cat and giggling like a 2nd grader

• Realizing that you really hate your hair right now and then getting a phone call from your salon reminding you that you have appointment this Thursday at 2:15pm

• Leaving work at 2 in the afternoon to go to said appointment

• Having only one more thing to do for school

• Having one of your favorite diarylanders updating after two weeks

• Your shaggy ass boyfriend getting a nice slick haircut

• Your boss buying you junk food

• Not caring about your period cuz you're so elated about everything else

• Having lots of gummy worms in the house

• Having a full gallon of milk and a full carton of orange juice

• Knowing you're going to put together a bomb-diggity care package for a soldier in need

• and many, many other things.

*Sigh* Life is good.

Things that don't rock: Being on your period, getting a catalog from your friend who is now selling Mary Kay... she's 22, married, with a kid, and selling Mary Kay. There's nothing wrong with this mind you, but I just didn't see her in this situation. Not now. And lastly, knowing that friends of yours are out in the middle of Iraq in sand storms and in danger. :(
